Children’s fiction and picture books are 30p each or 4 for £1. Starting a project at school? Need pictures or information? Come and buy a fact book here! They are only 50p each or 5 for £2. You can find them on the back wall of the Junior Library with pink labels on their spine.
Photographic Exhibition prints for sale
Professional photographic images capturing Crystal Palace by Sean Michael Bulson LRPS and Craig Richardson of Glasshouse19 are
exhibited on our front staircase. All print sales help to support the library. You can visit the Glasshouse19 gallery website here. A limited edition of 17″X 5″ framed panoramic prints are also available to view at the enquiry desk on the ground floor. (Please ask for Christine if she’s available.)

On display, we have a signed, limited edition print of local artist Audrey Hammond’s 1985
painting of Upper Norwood Library before the 2004 refurbishment. This painting is featured in the book Crystal Palace Norwood Heights – A Pictorial Record by Audrey Hammond, Brian Dann and Mike Conrad. A smaller version of this commemorative painting is available for purchase in the form of postcards, priced very reasonably at 60p each.
The proceeds from these prints are very kindly donated to the library by Audrey to help boost the library’s much-needed income.
