Due to our unique independent status we have a wide ‘hand picked’ selection of items on our shelves ready for you to borrow with no waiting for inter-branch transport. There is also an area with information booklets and magazines for senior citizens to sit and browse and a lift to carry you up to the majority of the non-fiction books for lending on the first floor.
Our Children’s library is a colourful and lively centre with a notice board for children’s local events and services, display boards for art from local schools, a colouring table with crayons for small children, toys, a cosy corner and a collection of magazines and comics. There are tables for study and various information leaflets and booklets for parents and carers.
Our Studies/Information library is located on the first floor at the rear of the building where you can find the majority of the non-fiction books for lending, quick reference and general reference material.
The Meeting room can be hired for community or private use and is located at the rear of the building on the lower ground level. Access is from the car park (lower ground level) and by lift/stairs from the Lending library level 1.
